The Congress of Africa's Mineral Resources Development (CAMRED) is a
continental platform for turning Africa's mineral endowment into
African industry, jobs and prosperity. Its third edition takes place
in Cairo, Egypt, from 5 to 7 October 2026 under the theme "Africa's
Wealth for Africa", convening governments, mining companies,
investors, suppliers, African SMEs, and organisations representing
women, youth and artisanal miners. CAMRED III is organised by the
Africa Business Council through its Minerals Resources Development
Cluster, with the Minerals Africa Development Institution (MADI), in collaboration with the African Union
Commission's Department of Economic Development, Trade, Tourism,
Industry and Minerals, and the United Nations Industrial Development
Organization, with support from the Open Society Foundations.
